The 34-meter Custom Line Eagle Wings III yacht caught fire on June 7 while berthed at the ONE°15 Marina Club in Sentosa Cove, Singapore. While firefighters from the Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF) fought the blaze, the yacht was ultimately destroyed and left partially submerged.
According to an SCDF Facebook post, emergency services were alerted to the blaze at about 8:10 a.m. Land-based firefighting resources arrived within seven minutes and found the yacht fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters initially deployed a water jet from the dock to fight the fire. However, during the operation, the burning yacht began drifting away from its berth, prompting SCDF to deploy a marine vessel to assist with firefighting.
ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove later confirmed the yacht involved was Eagle Wings III and said the fire had been extinguished.
In a statement, the marina thanked the Singapore Civil Defence Force, Sentosa Development Corporation, Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, Police Coast Guard, and other agencies for their response to the incident.
The marina said there were no reported injuries and that operations had since resumed, although the affected berth remains closed as a precaution while investigations continue. Safety and environmental barriers have also been put in place around the area.
