Luxury Travel and Expeditions has announced a corporate restructuring that positions the company as the parent organization for a portfolio of superyacht agencies, with CM Yacht Agents and Cuba Luxury Expeditions now operating as independent sister subsidiaries.
The move positions CM Yacht Agents as a dedicated superyacht agency serving Chile, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay, and Ecuador, with a focus on expedition cruising in Patagonia and Antarctica. Founded by CEO Carlos Miquel, the company specializes in shore support, logistics, and itinerary planning for yachts operating in the region.
“The remote waters of Patagonia and Antarctica demand far more than the standard marine coordination — they require intimate, first-hand familiarity with challenging navigation, deep local authority, and vendor relationships, combined with the understanding to meet a flawless standard of luxury,” said Carlos Michael, founder and CEO of CM Yacht Agents. “Aligning under luxury travel and expeditions allows us to upscale our operational resources while strictly preserving the elite, hyper-personalized support that captains, crew, and owners depend upon across several countries in a centralized, yet local manner.”
According to the company, CM Yacht Agents maintains local support teams throughout its operating region, providing services including customs and immigration clearance, fuel and provisioning, technical support, expedition planning, and concierge services.
The restructuring is intended to allow each brand to focus on its regional expertise while still benefiting from the parent company’s broader network and resources.
