Looking for a way to celebrate World Ocean Day in South Florida? The fourth annual International Ocean Film Festival returns to Savor Cinema in Fort Lauderdale on June 6 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Hosted by the Guy Harvey Foundation, the event will showcase five short films centered on ocean conservation, marine life, and the power of the ocean. Presenting sponsor Norwegian Cruise Line and concession sponsor Surfing’s Evolution and Preservation Foundation are supporting this year’s festival.
Following the screenings, attendees can take part in a special panel presentation and raffle to support the Guy Harvey Foundation’s educational outreach and community programs. Proceeds from the event help fund hands-on STEAM experiences for students and provide professional development for teachers through training workshops and a range of educational resources.
